[ 2017 Site Update: I have signed up for Ironman Wales and am blogging my Zero to Hero (hopefully) antics and adventures]
I am Magpie and this is my nest..
I am a mother of four little birds, two born in my nest and two step birds who flit too and fro between two families.
We have two rescue dogs and a geriatric cat whom has since passed away :,( now have a Moxy cat, I have been banned from getting any more animals as the puppy has pretty much devoured the house.
I am a wife or as I like to say ‘Iron wife,’ my husband is a Triathlete and Ironman, you will find him swimming or on his bike or running.
I am also a teacher who lectures Health and Social and a non practicing counselor…… Annnnnd, a qualified massage practitioner….Took me a while to find what career I wanted to do for life, there are so many good ones!
This blog is basically all about my wakco life and my misdemeanors training for Ironman Wales, don’t really have any messages or spiritual advice or any normal advice really. There is a feminist, wild women, free spirit here but she is just going with the flow and cracking as many jokes as she can. We need a laugh and I hope that is what you get. xxx
P.S I am also a massive dyslexic so feel free to point out helpful spelling corrections, bad grammar and punctuation!
How big is that puppy?

Not as big as he looks on the photo. He is a mutant Jake Russel x Staffy and a destroyer of carpets. You will hear about and his big sister Emily in my next blog. Thank you for following my blog x

Thank you for following! I hope I can keep you entertained. Dogs and cats don’t get blogged on often. The ride here in my little facet of the world is fiction. Romantic, horror, adventure, science, historical and contemporary and even children’s fiction has snuck in.
Then on some of it, Hershey the Chocolab and Honey the honey-colored dog have adventures chronicled.
Check back often!
Oh …and you can also spell it “Lesdyxia” and if anyone gives you grief. Ptthhhpppth. They can go for a swim off the coast of North Carolina wearing raw hamburger around there necks. I understand it and that’s who counts most.
Your readers. 😀
(I have to get on my blog and clean it up, it is behind the times (by dozens if not hundreds) in posts and cluttered up badly. )
Take care! See you soon!

I am looking forward to delving into your world of fiction! I love fiction, fantasy and horror. The world I choose to escape to is very different from the world I live in. Give me witches and elves, fay and Giants.
Thank you for the advice or as I like to spell advise 😁
See you soon!!

You will enjoy “DragonMaster University” then. It is in first draft evolution (Not found the end yet) and is currently on hiatus while I prepare for a horror anthology (Sadly, can’t post those until after the anthology is published.) taking pictures today of “horror house”.
😀 Steel Gardens of Anid-Sta have Fae like creatures interacting with human(s) It is also evolving.

Magpie,
Thanks for the follow! I’ll try to keep you enameled with my network and travel adventures (currently in Dijon, France).
Also, don’t sweat the small stuff. Spelling and grammar is definitely not my forte, but I hope through this course to be more proficient and actually enjoy the act of writing.
Keep up the spirit!

You actually have REAL dogs, not the little wimpy things that can be mistaken for a small cat. Grew up with a German shepherd / Black lab mix. He was my first horse! I was her first puppy. She would block cars from leaving our yard with me inside, unless my mom came out and let her know it was all right. Walked with me down the driveway to get on the bus. She would be waiting for me when I returned from school. I really do NOT like the tiny dog breeds. I love cats and real dogs!
